Payment is required via BACS transfer in advance or you can pay on the day with a credit/debit card or cash. Final choices/numbers will be required 3 days in advance.

Choices are as follows:-

Alternatively, there are several fast-food restaurants nearby (eg. McDonalds, Pizza Hut), lots of family-friendly pubs and some lovely park areas (eg. Charlton Lakes) where you could take a picnic.

Can I bring my own party food and birthday cake?

Unfortunately, due to space and tidying up afterwards, we cannot allow any other food to be brought onto our site, however you are welcome to bring drinks and a birthday cake/cupcakes so that everyone can sing Happy Birthday at the end of the party!

What activities do you offer?

LASER TAG (age 7+) is a safe, environmentally friendly and painless game compared to Paintball or Airsoft as no projectiles are fired. The guns do not actually emit a laser but an infrared beam, similar to the one found in your TV remote. Our laser tag guns are state-of-the-art, lightweight and easy to use, so the perfect activity for ages 7+.

SPLATMASTER (age 9+) is a junior version of Paintballing providing a low impact alternative for younger players as the guns are engineered so that children from age 9 (and some adults!) can easily cock, load, and fire them.

CQB TACTICAL TRAINING (age 10+) uses a state-of-the-art system which gives a truly versatile and immersive target shooting experience. Fully customisable, we have the flexibility to create different training scenarios and combat simulations for all levels and abilities.

PAINTBALL (age 12+) is a game in which players compete in teams or individually to eliminate opponents by ‘tagging’ them with paintballs (capsules containing water-soluble dye encased in a gelatin shell) propelled from a device called a paintball marker.

AIRSOFT (age 12+) is a competitive team game in which participants eliminate opposing players with spherical projectiles called BBs fired from replica weapons called airsoft guns. We run regular Airsoft games on Wednesday and Friday evenings, and all-day Sunday – book online at www.ironsightairsoft.co.uk. We also have a vast range of Airsoft kit, consumables and branded merchandise available online at www.ironsightonline.com.

What's the minimum/maximum age that can play?

Our activities are suitable for all ages with Laser Tag for ages 7+. Once players are 9 they can play Splatmaster, at 10 they can play CQB Tactical Training, and at 12 they can play Paintball and Airsoft. There is no maximum age limit, provided you are fairly fit, anyone can join in the fun … parents and grandparents too!

What's the minimum/maximum group size?

Our minimum group size for all activities is 8 players, as with 4 on each team it makes for better gameplay and more fun for everyone! The maximum is 40 players.

What days are you open?

We are open 7 days a week, and our up-to-date availability can be found via our online booking system at ironsightactivities.com/booking. If you are unable to book a specific date/time slot, it means we are already fully booked for that session, so please try an alternative date or time.

What times can I book an activity for?

We have time slots of 9.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm, depending on which activity and day you choose – up to date availability is via our online booking system. We also have special after-school Laser Tag sessions at 4.30pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

If you are unable to book a specific date/time slot, it means we are already fully booked for that session, so please try an alternative date or time.

CQB Tactical Training is not bookable via our online system as it’s a shorter activity so only available as an add-on, so email us to book or we can tailor a package to suit your needs.

For Corporate Events, Team-Building days, Hen or Stag parties, we can be flexible with timings to accommodate larger groups and create a half or full day of activities, so email or give us a call to discuss a tailormade event.

How do I book?

We have online booking at ironsightactivities.com/booking which shows our up-to-date availability. Once you’ve chosen your date, activity and time slot, you can input the number of players and pay a deposit of £3 per player. You will then receive a confirmation email with all the information you’ll need for the day. If you are unable to book a specific date/time slot, it means we are already fully booked for that session, so please try an alternative date or time.

How do I pay?

When you book online you will pay the deposit of £3 per player. The balance is due 7 days prior to your event and you will receive a reminder email containing a payment link. Alternatively, you can pay with a direct bank transfer to WOODLANDS OUTDOOR LEISURE, Account No: 83937518 Sortcode: 40 42 18. Please include your Name and Booking Reference so that we can track your payment.

Can we play without a booking?

All groups must be booked in with us as we prepare all the equipment in advance ready for when players arrive. You can add additional players onto an existing booking provided you let us know the day before so we know how much equipment we need.

Can I add more players on the day?

You can add additional players onto an existing booking provided you let us know at least 3 days in advance. We will endeavour to accommodate extra players but this will be subject to availability. You can pay for extra players on the day, but they must complete an online disclaimer before they arrive.

What if I don't know exact numbers for my event?

The best thing to do is book online at ironsightactivities.com/booking for the maximum number of players you think you will have and pay the £3 deposit per player. Once you have definite numbers, let us know and we will deduct the deposit off the final balance. You need to ensure you have a minimum of 8 players.

What time should we arrive?

Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your booking time, as this enables players from earlier bookings to leave and ensures there’s enough space in our car park.

How long do the activities last for?

You will be on site for 1.5-2 hours depending on whether you have included pizza on your booking. Once you’ve been introduced to your Gaming Marshal, you will have about 20 minutes for kitting up, safety and gaming briefings. You’ll then enjoy a full hour of gameplay, and approximately 30 minutes to enjoy your pizzas afterwards.

For Corporate Events, Team-Building days, Hen or Stag parties, we can be flexible with timings to accommodate larger groups and create a half or full day of activities, so email or give us a call to discuss a tailormade event.

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking up to 7 days in advance. Your deposit payment will be held and you can re-book within the next 3 months at no additional cost. If you cancel less than 7 days in advance, we will retain your deposit payment and if you re-book in future, you will need to pay your deposit again.

Do you offer a discount for large groups?

We often run promotions offering special deals for the group organiser to play for free, or ‘buy 3 get 1 free’, so keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates – https://www.facebook.com/ironsightactivities.

What gaming zones do you have?

We are an all-weather activity centre so can run events indoors and outdoors, regardless of what Mother Nature throws at us! We have themed indoor gaming zones in huge hangars including a Submarine Room, Underground Train Station, Aztec Room and Prison Cell Block. We also have vast outdoor spaces including a Mini Jungle, Dockyard Arena and open fields. We even have a vintage double-decker bus and life-size replica tank that can be incorporated into the games.

What games can we play on the day?

Our Marshals will adapt the gameplay to suit the ages, abilities and weather conditions, but they usually include Search & Destroy, Domination, Ambush, Last Man Standing, Zombies and Capture the Flag. If anyone has any specific requests, they may be able to accommodate them.

Can you accommodate corporate events?

Yes, we can accommodate groups of up to 40 players (more if we rotate the activities, so call us as we can tailor-make a package to suit your timings, budget and player ability). An action-packed event can improve communication between teams, build employee relationships and enhance staff morale and mental well-being.

Can you take the activities to an offsite event/venue?

All of our Laser Tag equipment is transportable, so we can come to your venue, garden party, wedding reception, village fair, school fete or charity event. Ideally, we require a minimum area of 25m x25m but we’ll arrange a site visit prior to the date to ensure the area is suitable and compatible with our equipment. Our fully trained staff will arrive, set up, run the games throughout the day, pack up and leave, and you won’t even know they’ve been there!

Can I bring my own Laser Tag or Paintball gun?

No, due to safety regulations we cannot allow own guns to be brought onto site. All of our equipment is monitored, regularly serviced and set up to ensure everyone’s safety.

Can I bring my own Airsoft gun?

Subject to prior agreement, you can bring your own Airsoft gun but it will have to be tested with a .20g BB with our chronograph. Our full site rules must be adhered to and can be read in full at www.ironsightairsoft.co.uk/site-rules.

How many paintballs will I need?

If you are booking our standard package for under 16’s at £25 per person, all your paintballs will be included. Alternatively, you can book for ‘Walk-on Paintball’ (for all ages from 12+) and choose how many paintballs you want (prices start from £15 per person for 100 paintballs). It really depends on your style of gameplay as to how many paintballs you will get through, so are you a tactical sniper shot, or shoot and spray? But don’t worry if you run out half way through, you can purchase more on the day!

What do I need to wear?

We advise players to come dressed appropriately for the weather as gameplay will usually be a combination of indoors and outdoors. If playing Airsoft, long sleeves and trousers are advisable, as well as gloves. Sturdy footwear is essential and must be properly fitting (no designer trainers as they will probably get muddy!).

Do you supply protective wear?

Yes, we supply all-in-one camo overalls for Splatmaster and Paintball players, together with head masks and eye protection. We also supply Airsoft players with head masks and eye protection, and they are advised to wear long trousers and sleeves (they are welcome to use the camo overalls for added protection if they wish).

Do the paintballs and BBs hurt?

We’re not going to lie, you will feel a Paintball or BB if it hits you somewhere that’s unprotected! That’s why we supply camo overalls for Splatmaster and Paintball players, and advise all Airsoft players to wear long trousers and sleeves, and they can wear overalls if they wish for added protection. We also supply full head masks and eye protection. All of our games are played with teams and players being at a distance from each other, none of the gameplay will be at close quarters, so you won’t get hit at close range (unless any of your teammates don’t listen to the Marshal’s instructions!).

Do you supply smoke grenades?

Yes, we have smoke grenades in a range of different colours and they’re a great way to add another dimension to the gameplay. You can add these on at £5 each when you make your booking online, or buy them on the day, just ask one of our Marshals and they’ll get them sorted for you.

Do we need to complete a Disclaimer?

Every player (or their parent/guardian) must complete our online disclaimer before they arrive for their event – ironsightactivities.com/disclaimer. If anyone is unable to do this online, they can print it out or complete one on the day, but ideally, online is the best option!

Where are you located?

Longstock Road, Goodworth Clatford, Andover, SP11 7LF. Sat navs may send you to a farm ½ mile away, but please do not go into the farm. Keep driving past if you have come from the A303 and we are located on the right-hand side, just after the large over-hanging tree. If coming from Stockbridge, turn left into Ironsight before you get to the farm. We are next to Rowbury Farm Campsite so you may see signs for that too.

Is there a car park?

We have a car park on site for approx. 30 cars, however if you are part of a large group it may be a good idea to buddy-up and car share!

Do you have toilets/disabled access/baby change facilities?

We have separate Ladies and Gents toilets, and a disabled access toilet. We have a pull-down baby change facility in the Ladies toilet.

Can I bring my dog?

Please do not bring pets onto the site, apart from assistance dogs.

Can parents stay and watch?

Parents are welcome to stay in our ‘safe zone’ hangars whilst the gameplay is taking place. Subject to agreement with our Marshals, they can go out into the gaming zones provided they wear our supplied safety masks/goggles. We cannot allow parents to wander freely around the site as they may get hit by a stray BB or paintball!

What happens if it rains?

We are an all-weather activity centre so your event will go ahead regardless of the weather! We have indoor gaming zones as well as vast outdoor spaces so our Marshals can adapt the games to suit the conditions.

Do you have any other merchandise?

We have an extensive range of Airsoft kit, consumables and BBs on our Airsoft online shop at www.ironsightonline.com. We also have a range of branded merchandise including hoodies, gloves and caps, which are perfect for players and make great gifts too! You can add all these in the EXTRAS section of your online booking. Alternatively, let us know what you want in advance and we can have it ready for when you arrive (you can pay via credit card on the day).

Can you supply party bags?

We have Ironsight branded drawstring bags (like a PE bag) and we pop a branded pen and pack of loom bands inside. We do not include sweets due to allergy risks, however you are welcome to add additional items before handing them out on the day. You can order them when you book online under the EXTRAS section.
